On the delightful North Island travel through the cultural centre of Lake Rotorua, the centre of Maoridom, a volcanic heritage site and visit NZ's two largest cities, Auckland City of Sails and Wellington (capital city). Discover bubbling mud pools & incredible Geo-thermal activity (3,000 degrees!) Cross South on the breathtaking Interislander Ferry to scenic Picton before seeing wildlife such as Dusky dolphins, giant Sperm whales, fur seals and the mighty Albatross in Kaikoura, the dramatic glaciers in Franz Josef and Fox, Lake Matheson is a must-see—Milford Sound, world-famous for staggering waterfalls & much more.

Drive to Kaikoura today on the Pacific Coast scenic route.
