After crossing 42 km/31mls across the Cook Strait to the South Island discover the wildlife magic of Kaikoura, giant Sperm whales, playful acrobatic Dusky dolphins, magnificent Albatross, and hundreds of Fur seals - before continuing south to the snow-capped Southern Alps mountains, alpine lakes, and glaciers, ancient rain forests of the lower west South Island.
